Description
The lionfish is native to the South pacific. Lionfish are venomous but a sting is rarely deadly. The lionfish have invaded the Atlantic Ocean along the Eastern Seaboard. This exotic fish when threatened will display it's enlarged pectoral fins and elongated dorsal fin spines in order to ward off the threat.
